The social and sexual roles of Hima women

My anthropological research paper explores the lives of nomadic cattle breeders in Nyabushoshozi County, Ankole, Uganda. The primary focus of my work is on the sexual practices of Hima women. It examines their behaviors, attitudes, and culture, including the leisured lovemaking that is part of their tradition. By examining these practices, I can explain what they are and how they function in Hima culture. It’s important to note that this is the first academic study to explore these practices.
